Every review begins with a defined reader question. We identify the intended use, gather product and sizing documentation, examine material and care information, compare credible alternatives and record the date of the evidence.
Evidence labels
Hands-on review
The garment was physically examined or worn. The article states the tested size, relevant measurements and test period.
Research-based review
The assessment is based on official specifications, size charts, care instructions, retailer information and other attributable public evidence. It is never presented as personal wear experience.
What we evaluate
- Fit and sizing: garment measurements, cut, stretch and consistency.
- Fabric and construction: fibre content, weight, lining, seams, closures and finishing.
- Comfort and use: mobility, breathability, layering and intended occasion.
- Care and durability signals: washing requirements, pilling risk, repairability and upkeep.
- Value: practical versatility and price context, without using commission as a scoring factor.
Updates and corrections
Articles display an updated date. Material corrections are made when better evidence becomes available.
